Susan was born with Down syndrome, but she has never let that define her or hold her back. From the very beginning, she has approached life with unmatched energy, positivity, and a love for others that shines through in every interaction.

Over the years, Susan has accomplished so much. She’s proudly participated in the Special Olympics, worked jobs including time at Ukrop’s, and even shared her voice by singing at recitals. Her passion for entertainment is clear—she’s a huge fan of American Idol and especially loves Lionel Richie.

When she’s not busy inspiring others, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, working out, painting pottery, and exploring bookstores. Everywhere she goes, she brings joy, laughter, and a genuine spirit that people are drawn to.
