Robbie Mcintosh

Robbie is the heart, humor, and real-life perspective behind Inside Our Minds. As a proud co-host living independently as an adult with autism, Robbie brings honesty, personality, and authenticity to every episode.

He isn’t just sharing stories, he’s breaking stereotypes. Through his lived experiences, Robbie gives listeners a real look at what independence, responsibility, and joy can look like for adults on the autism spectrum. When he’s not behind the mic, you can usually find him enjoying his favorite things, especially going out for burgers and pizza. His favorite restaurants include Fridays and Cicis.

Robbie’s greatest desire is to live a life with purpose and meaning and to connect with those around him. His strongest interests and knowledge base has been all things NPR and PBS- especially the news programs and he has always wanted to be a news broadcaster. Robbie also enjoys learning to play the piano and hopes to one day be an organist.

One of the most unique things about Robbie? He loves watching high school graduations online. Supporting others and being part of big moments is just who he is.

His faith is important to him, and going to church is a meaningful part of his life. He also takes pride in working at the YMCA, where he stays active, responsible, and connected.

Through Inside Our Minds, Robbie shares his experiences with autism, independence, work, faith, friendship, and everyday life — showing the world that adults with disabilities are living full, joyful, and meaningful lives.
